In the heart of it all, this incredibly convenient and spacious terraced cottage is just a few minutes' walk from the seafront and delightful high street. The Property also has the benefit of a Beach Hut which can be hired in addition to the property (please check availability at the time of booking): so come rain or shine, you can enjoy life on the beach!

The holiday cottage has accommodation to suit a family or larger group : a good-sized living room and cosy wood-burner for the winter months, a dining room which seats up to 10 guests and a large kitchen which has access out to the paved and shingle garden, with patio furniture, barbeque and back gate accessing the private parking.

There are five bedrooms in the cottage, four bedrooms upstairs, three on the first floor which comprises of a double, a twin with zip and link beds to provide a double bed if required and bunk bedded room and there is also the family bathroom and separate shower room on this floor. A set of very steep narrow stairs lead up to the second floor, where there is another twin-bedded room under the eaves.  On the ground floor, a new extension to the cottage provides a double bedroom with ensuite shower/wet room.

Accommodation:

Living area: 3 sofas. Wood-burning stove. Digital TV, DVD player, books (pls bring your own DVDs). Dining table and chairs seating up to 10.

Kitchen: Renovated in 2019, the kitchen benefits from a new and well planned kitchen units with an electric oven, gas hob, integrated washer/dryer, integrated, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster.

First Floor:

Family bathroom: bath with shower over and screen, WC and hand basin. Shower room: shower cubicle, WC and hand basin.

Ground Floor:

Ensuite Shower/Wet Room.

Bedrooms:

Ground floor: Newly created double room, separate sitting area with sofa bed and an ensuite shower/wet room First floor: 1 double, 1 twin (which is a zip and link double bed), 1 bunk-bedded room. Second floor: 1 twin - accessed via steep open tread stairs. 

Outside: Paved, enclosed garden. Garden furniture. Rotary clothes line. Barbeque. Private parking for one large or two small cars.

The area: Southwold is a delightful seaside town: its colourful beach huts, excellent range of independent shops, cafes and restaurants, beautiful sandy beach, award-winning pier and atmospheric harbour, not to mention Adnams Brewery, all add to its timeless appeal. Bring your bucket and spade for some genuine seaside fun, or take a gentle stroll along the promenade and take in the lovely views of the pier, beach huts and lighthouse.

The Property has WiFi

The cottage is centrally heated with a wood-burner. One small basket of logs is provided on arrival in the winter months (November-March).

A beach hut is also available with the property for an additional weekly charge . Guests booking The Property will have first refusal of the Beach Hut-unless the booking is late & the hut is already booked .
