The Scottish Snowdrop Festival

Take part in one of the fantastic events happening across the whole of Scotland. Take the kids and enjoy wildlife-themed walks, treasure hunts and talks.  With hundreds of botanical gardens, woodlands and castles opening up their grounds, this is a perfect excuse to don your walking boots and take the family for a crisp walk through the dazzling displays of snowdrops.

Imaginate Festival

This week-long performing arts festival in Edinburgh plays host to award-winning productions for children and young people. The programme is filled with exciting and stimulating shows to suit children and adults of every age and feature some of the best and most imaginative children’s performers from Scotland and across the world. It’s certainly not to be missed and is a highlight of Scotland’s creative calendar.

 

Fairytale Farm in Oxfordshire

This wonderful farm experience will be a big hit with all generations of the family, and for a real Easter treat the farm have created an indoor Giant Rabbit Burrow for the kids to explore. Meet the Easter bunny, listen to storytelling and take part in their Easter egg hunt… and the best bit is every child gets a chocolate egg to take home 🙂

St David’s Day

Visit Wales this Spring and enjoy the national festivities taking place to celebrate the patron saint Dewi Sant. The unmissable highlight is the parade through Cardiff, with the distinct dragon theme and a spectacular concert in the evening from the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. Even if you’re not in the capital you’ll still be treated to a plenty of markets, open heritage sites and carnivals taking place across the country.

 

Perrygrove Railway’s Spring Equinox

To celebrate that Spring is just around the corner, Perrygrove Railway have fantastic illuminations throughout their woodlands and you can enjoy as many train likes as you like! Why not bring along a picnic and join in with one of their treasure hunts or explore the indoor village – this is a perfect day out whatever the weather!
