Princess Anne officially opened a new wolf enclosure at the Highland Wildlife Park near Kincraig earlier this month. The new £300,000 enclosure, which was built by Royal Engineers, covers a larger area of ground and includes an impressive viewing platform. It is expected that the wolves – a female called Elara and five-year-old male called Puika – will breed and rear cubs. The Princess Royal also took time to tour the park, which is home to the UK’s only polar bear, as well as Amur tigers and snow monkeys.
