Located on “Argyll’s Secret Coast”, even getting to this Loch Fyne Holiday Home has its perks, as Jeremy Clarkson, the former Top Gear presenter, has rated the route between Colintraive and Tighnabruaich as among his best driving experiences. The panorama of the Kyles of Bute is one of Scotland’s finest views but once you have reached your destination, the views on offer from the decking or the balcony on the first floor are amazing, and even on a poor day in October when this image was taken, you can see the magnificent view that will be yours all week.

What is on offer is a purpose built holiday house, set in a rural location by the sea, with a private beach to the front. For those looking for their own space on the west coast of Scotland with access to a beach for their family, then this is perfect. A boat is provided as part of the rental for those that are suitably qualified, but for most it is just the fun of collecting shells and exploring the coastline by foot on unexplored beaches.

This holiday house faces south, so the front decking area and all the rooms to the front get amazing light, including the large expansive sitting room. Full of comfortable sofas, a wood –burning stove and a TV, whilst children may end up here in the evening, the adults gravitate to the front of the house to enjoy the views. A glass of wine relaxing with a few friends enjoying the amazing view in a beautiful part of Scotland is what holidays are all about.

I suppose what could be better is being in a hot tub within a spa room with those same views and that is exactly what you can do here. To the side of the house there is a designated spa room with a hot tub, so even if the weather is a little cooler, this room will be remain at the same temperature.

The dining room is an ideal size for up to 8 people and there is a practical modern kitchen to cater for all the fish you catch. There is one bedroom at ground level which would be good for someone with more limited mobility, with the other three bedrooms upstairs.
