Feed Obi-Swan-Kanobi at the Caverlock Wetland Centre, Dumfries
The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT) is a conservation charity that saves wetlands, which are essential for life itself. A great day out for those who wish to connect with nature and enjoy being surrounded by some of the UK’s top wildlife.
Wild swans are fed daily from 11am to 2pm throughout February. Who knows, you may be able to spot Obi-Swan-Kanobi, recently named by BBC Autumnwatch!

Why not visit these endearing creatures in their natural mountain environment where they will be resting after a busy Christmas season.
Daily guided tours depart at 11am from the Glenmore centre to go and seek these gorgeous creatures where you can learn more about their habitat and also have the chance to hand feed them.
Try your hand at skiing the Scottish Alps!
Glenshee is one of Scotland’s finest ski resorts with over 40km of pisted runs and a vertical descent of 1,500 ft. There is something for all abilities especially families with over 50% of the slopes graded at green or blue level.
The centre has several ski schools, ski hire and hillside cafes. For those slightly more adventurous there are amazing off-piste and ski touring opportunities from the ski centre.
