Borders
Sleeps 6
This delightful cottage can be found within the rolling Borders hills, and is the ideal place to escape to unwind for a weekend in low season or for a week in the summer.
This is a secluded stone built cottage in a rural setting, within a 500 acre estate, with an open view to the rolling Border hills beyond. Upgraded in recent years, it combines a traditional cottage feel with fashionable interior design within.
The cottage is accessible via a private estate road, which it sits in front of, with good open views. Inside, it has been fitted and equipped to a high standard. The accommodation consists of a sitting room with open fire and satellite TV/DVD, with comfortable sofas and chairs. Next door is the fully equipped kitchen with separate dining area, with seating for up to 6 people. There is one ground floor bedroom, which is a double room, whilst the family bathroom is next door. Upstairs are the other two bedrooms, with one being a double bedroom and the other a twin room. There is parking for 2 cars to the side, with further space nearby if required. In the summer months, garden furniture and a BBQ are available for use. Whilst there are no other houses visible nearby, there are other holiday houses on the estate, and residents are welcome to enjoy the woodland walks. Ideal for weekends away in low or mid season or for family holidays in the summer.
