The property consists of five floors, joined with a steep period spiral staircase with the accommodation being situated on the upper three floors providing luxurious retreats. The large kitchen is perfect for preparing grand medieval style feasts with enough space to seat all guests. The spectacular sitting room with grand open fire is well suited to evening entertainment and relaxing after a long day exploring.

For those flying into Scotland, the closest airport to this property is Prestwick 67 miles away and Glasgow 90 miles away and hiring a car or 4WD couldn’t be more convenient if you are choosing to travel by air. There are a variety of well known car rental companies situated within walking distance of the arrivals terminal at Glasgow and similar services can be made available for your arrival at Prestwick in advance.

If you are driving into Scotland from the south, the major arterial motorway into Scotland, the M74, although busy is generally free flowing.

Trains these days can also be an extremely accessible and pleasurable means of transport into Scotland for individuals and groups alike.
