Stay at this delightful cottage in the Scottish Borders and enjoy a landscape of rolling hills, castles, abbeys, gardens, woods, golf courses and fast flowing rivers.
This is a stone built cottage, formerly a gardener’s cottage, in a rural setting within a 500 acre estate, with a backdrop of mature trees and woodlands. Upgraded in recent years, it combines a traditional cottage feel with modern comforts.
The cottage is accessible via a private estate road, or off the main drive, which leads up to the main country residence. Inside, it has been fitted and equipped to a high standard. The accommodation is all one level, with six steps between the reception area and the accommodation layout. The main room is the living space, which houses the seating area with an open fire and TV, dining area and the well equipped kitchen. Then there is a good size double bedroom, a further twin bedroom and a bathroom. There is parking for 2 cars to the side, with further space nearby if required. In the summer months, garden furniture and a BBQ are available for use. Whilst there are other holiday houses on the estate, residents are welcome to enjoy the woodland walks. Ideal for weekends away in low or mid season or for family holidays in the summer.
