Located near Edinburgh, this red sandstone baronial house has recently been refurbished to a high luxury standard. With a fully enclosed garden and grounds this family home enjoys stunning views across to the rolling Border hills.

Accessed via an electronic gate, the house sits above a terraced garden in 10 acres of grounds. Inside there is a large drawing room with open fire and bay windows to enjoy the views. Whilst there is an intimate dining room, for larger groups the impressive main hall becomes the dining hall, with gallery above. This is served by the large modern kitchen, which has snugs for children to dine in here. A secondary sitting room acts a TV room for children and the games room with its full size snooker table always attracts a crowd, adults and children alike. All the accommodation is on the floor above and includes two double rooms en-suite, two family rooms en-suite, four double rooms and two bathrooms. There is also a music room on this floor. Outside there is plenty of parking for many cars, and the terraced lawns can become a croquet lawn or for the use of badminton, if required. This is a superb luxury country house handily placed between Edinburgh and Glasgow, which is ideal for larger groups to entertain in grand style.
