This Baronial mansion house hotel, built in 1861, offers modern comfort in a traditional setting, to a very high standard. This imposing red sandstone baronial mansion nestles in the rolling Borders countryside and enjoys glorious views.

It is a country house hotel, with the feel of a traditional country house, but run to the highest professional standards of a hotel.

The reception rooms consist of a lounge, a conservatory, a drawing room, a study, a dining room that can seat a maximum of 30 people, and a further smaller dining room, which can be used for private dining. There are 13 bedrooms en-suite, all with a unique character.

The grounds are private and secluded and include an ornamental garden, a walled garden and a tennis court. This is an ideal venue for a corporate retreat, a family occasion, a house party or an intimate wedding.

Religious services can take place within the house or grounds and civil ceremonies for up to 40 people can be held within the hotel.
