067 Walled Garden Cottage, Ross-shire
Sleeps 4 Does not accept pets Does not allow smoking

It is so idyllic, this could be the garden cottage Beatrix Potter had in mind for Mr MacGregor, with Peter Rabbit hiding amongst the lettuce leaves of the walled garden.

This is a gardener’s cottage, which has been luxuriously refurbished, adjoined onto the walled garden which provides fruit and vegetables for the castle on the estate. Retaining an air of privacy with a high hedge to the rear, with a private lawn to the front, it is a haven of calm.

On entering, there is a beautifully presented sitting room with warming open fire, with a dining table, which is ideal for your evening meals. With TV with sky connection, this is great living space catering for all your requirements. The well equipped kitchen has a breakfast bar, whilst there is an additional room next door, which is a study area or can be used as a spare room if required. The sun room, with French windows opens out the private garden area and is a delight in the summer months. Upstairs there are the two well presnted bedrooms and two bathrooms. The grounds within the policy of the cottage are private, but there is unique access to the rest of the private Highland estate. These include access to the well kept private roads, to loch areas and designated BBQ sites. Ideal for cycling and walking, and fishing can be arranged at the lochs. The estate boasts an excellent sports hall which offers badminton, basketball, volley ball, pool, table tennis and many more, which is accessible by residents who book here. Clay-pigeon shooting and other activities can be arranged as extra on site. This cottage is ideal for an activity based holiday.
