A traditional gardener’s cottage that Beatrix Potter must have imagined that Mr MacGregor would have lived in! Attached to the walled garden, with its own lawn and private views – it is the perfect place to be dreamy about Peter Rabbit and a bygone age.

This is a luxurious former gardener’s cottage that adjoins onto the well maintained walled garden which provides fruit and vegetables for the nearby castle. It retains an air of privacy with a high hedge to the rear, but with a private lawn to the front. At ground level there is a large sitting room with dining area, a kitchen, a study or third bedroom and a sun room. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Fishing for trout in stocked lochs is included within the rental, as well as including bikes to ride on the private estate roads.
