A comment in the visitor’s book called this unique house an “upside down” house, because the bedrooms are downstairs and the reception rooms are upstairs.

This is an impressive luxurious Alpine style house with its own separate chalet, set in private grounds of a large Highland estate. Retaining an air of privacy with a high hedge to the side, with a private lawn to the front, this is a very peaceful location.

Accessed via the private tarred estate road, which makes cycling very easy, can be found the house and chalet. On entering the house, the bedrooms and bathrooms are situated on the ground floor, and are beautifully presented to a very high standard. On the first floor, there is a well equipped kitchen, which also houses a dining area, which is ideal for simple suppers or fine dining. Next door is the grand sitting room, with comfortable sofas and fine pictures, with TV with sky connection. The smaller chalet has a galley kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor, with the large twin bedroom upstairs. With garden furniture in the summer months, to enjoy the microclimate of Ross-shire. The grounds within the policy of the house are private, but there is unique access to the rest of the private Highland estate. These include access to the well kept private roads, to loch areas and designated BBQ sites. Ideal for cycling and walking, and fishing can be arranged at the lochs. The estate boasts an excellent sports hall which offers badminton, basketball, volley ball, pool, table tennis and many more, which is accessible by residents who book here. Clay-pigeon shooting and other activities can be arranged as extra on site. This is ideal for an activity based holiday.
