Breathe in that Highland air and take in the view, past the red deer, across the shimmering loch and onto the snow capped hills beyond. Highland lodges do not get much better!

This is a wonderful stone built traditional Highland lodge, built in 1930, with stunning views across Loch Shin and onto Ben Kilbreck beyond. Refurbished to an exacting standard, it maintains the traditional character of a shooting lodge throughout.

Within, there is a large drawing room, with the unusual feature of having two open fires in the room. Perfect for relaxing by the roaring fire in one of the leather Chesterfield sofas. Next door, there is a secondary sitting room, the library, and there is also a sun room, which is a delightful snug with lots of light coming in. The dining room is a traditional room with a table that can seat up to 16 adults, which is served from the nearby modest kitchen. On the floor above there are four double rooms, two twin rooms and three bathrooms. Whilst on the top floor there is a master double room, a bunk room and a bathroom.  Please note that there is central heating within the house on all floors, but not within the actual bedrooms. Electric heating is provided within the bedrooms if required. The lodge is set within a small policy of ground, which is shared with the keeper’s cottage and is surrounded by deer fence to keep the red deer out. The rest of the estate consists of 11,000 hectares and the road beyond this point is private to the estate. This is an ideal venue for a family holiday to take in mountain biking, hill walking, touring the North of Scotland, or the traditional fishing and shooting, which can be organised on the estate.
