Sunday papers, the smell of coffee brewing; what it is to have room to move, space to breath, time to unwind. Spend some time in this ancient fortress nestled amidst romantic forest clad mountains and you'll go home ready to right wrongs.

Sheltered within its own grounds, this is a typical late fifteenth century tower house built to a simple L-plan, with three storeys, a garret and a stone turnpike circular stairway. A further wing was added in the eighteenth century, and the castle is filled with antiques and period furniture.

Within there is a formal drawing room, a snug, a sitting room, a TV room, a kitchen with breakfasting area and a wood panelled dining room that can seat up to 18 adults. Whilst there is one bedroom on the first floor, the others are on the floors above. There is also a simply furnished estate cottage, which is to a lesser standard than the castle, which can be made available for additional accommodation.

It is ideal for family occasions, wedding groups or for corporate events. The property is only thirty minutes from Aberdeen and within the castle trail region.
