Claridges trained chef & resident housekeeper, Simon, will ensure guests’ needs are always met no matter how large or small the request.  On arrival guests can expect to walk into a welcoming environment; where fires will be lit, the dining table laid ready for use with beautifully starched linen and polished silverware, and electric blankets set to warm extra long beds.  Attention to detail and guest comfort is one of Simon’s top priorities. 

WHAT TO DO IN THE AREA

Situated in the heart of Scotland, Perthshire is famous for its fine scenery, from vast farmland to mountainous horizons, this area is a haven for ramblers, golfers and ornithologists alike. Sitting on the Fault that fused the Highlands and the Lowlands together, it boasts a tremendous mixture of terrain providing a supreme number of golf courses to suit all abilities, whilst being the perfect location for off road cycling and walking.

Use of a car is essential to discover the true beauty of the surrounding areas. This can be arranged for guests as extra.

For those flying into Scotland, the closest airports to this property are Dundee 30 miles away and Edinburgh 65 miles away and hiring a car or 4WD couldn’t be more convenient if you are choosing to travel by air. There are a variety of well known car rental companies situated within walking distance of the arrivals terminal at Edinburgh and such arrangements for car hire can also be made for arrivals at Dundee.

Trains these days can also be an extremely accessible and pleasurable means of transport into Scotland for individuals and groups alike. All the major railway stations have car hire companies located in situ, enabling the transition from carriage to car to be as stress free as possible.
