Dating back to the 15th century, with over 350 years of history, this is a beautifully presented west wing of a castle, which boasts stunning views of the rolling Ayrshire countryside. Famed for hosting the British Open Golf Championships, its rugged terrain of hills and over sixty miles of sheltered coastline, only a short drive from Glasgow, provides the perfect location for all sorts of gatherings and special occasions.

Set in 500 acres of mixed woodlands and mature gardens, this property offers fully refurbished and grand accommodation, brimming with period features and antique furniture. With a private vaulted entrance, and luxurious staircase and landing, the royal atmosphere is felt throughout.

There are a variety of well known car rental companies situated within walking distance of the arrivals terminal at Glasgow and such arrangements for car hire can also be made for arrivals at Prestwick. If you are driving into Scotland from the south, the major arterial motorway into Scotland, the M74, although busy is generally free flowing. Trains these days can also be an extremely accessible and pleasurable means of transport into Scotland for individuals and groups alike. All the major railway stations have car hire companies located in situ, enabling the transition from carriage to car to be as stress free as possible. The sleeper train can be caught from London to Glasgow, which takes approximately seven and a half hours and car hire can be easily arranged for your arrival, requiring just a short drive to get to your destination, although trains can be caught to Kilmarnock, only a mile from the property.
