If you are looking for a large holiday house in what is known as the “outdoor capital of Scotland”, then this beautiful lodge with clear views of Ben Nevis is ideal. Great lodge, great location.

Built in 1870, this delightful Victorian fishing lodge is situated in a tranquil glen overlooking the river Lochy, with the stunning backdrop of Ben Nevis in view. It has been renovated and refurbished, retaining country charm and style and is a superb holiday venue for all the family. In 1935, “Edward and Mrs Simpson”, were guests at this very lodge for a week, and whilst it has been modernised since then, the warm welcome and sense of history remains.

At ground level, there is the entrance hall, sitting room, hall with main stairs, TV room, an elegant drawing room, dining room that seats 14 people, study, cloakroom, and country style kitchen with electric AGA. The bedrooms are all on the floor above, with one four poster double room with en-suite bathroom, two double rooms with en-suite bathrooms, four twin rooms and two bathrooms. At the front, there is a patio area for dining in the summer, with fabulous views of the hills and glens. This holiday house is perfect for all the family, with so many activities nearby including those at Nevis Range, or just to enjoy the house on its own.
