The stunning views across the Forth are enough to inspire anyone, let alone one of Scotland's finest modern artists, Jack Vettriano, as this castle was his former home.

This Grade A listed castle, is a unique tower house, in a dramatic setting overlooking the Firth of Forth and Edinburgh beyond. Built in the twentieth century, it has a sixteenth century feel because of its design and its use of reclaimed historic timber and stone.

Nestled just off the Fife coastal route, it is accessible by electronic gates, within a walled enclosed garden of 3 acres of grounds. Within the castle, at ground level is the impressive dining room with table that is suitable for seating up to 12 people, with a snug off this and the well equipped kitchen next door. On the floor above, there is the elegant drawing room with comfortable sofas with chandeliers above, with the cinema room off this room. Whilst there is one four poster double room and bathroom on this first floor, the other bedrooms and bathrooms are on the second and third floors. Additionally there is a terraced patio area built up on the side of the castle, which is a great feature for alfresco dining or for just enjoying the stunning view over a drink. The grounds slope away from the castle and are enclosed and include a children’s play area. There is an annexe next door which is available to let as extra for 2 more people if required. Parking within the gates depends on your size of cars, but for no more than 5 vehicles. There is a space outside the gates for 2 further vehicles. This castle is an ideal venue for those wishing to be close to Edinburgh, and will suit family holidays, occasions and golfing groups.
