Built in 1882, this traditional late Victorian shooting lodge is situated in its own grounds, surrounded by mixed woodlands. In recent years it has been fully refurbished, whilst at the same time it retains its warmth and charm of yesteryear.
On entering at ground level is the welcoming hall, a study with a sofa-bed, a very large drawing room with open fire and grand piano, a bathroom with wheelchair accessible shower, a dining room with dining table that can seat 12 adults, a larder and a kitchen with seating for up to 6 adults. The bedrooms are situated on the floor above, and include three double rooms, two twin or double rooms with zip-and-link beds and one twin room. There are three bathrooms and a separate w.c upstairs. Features of the house include the original pitch pine throughout, the family home atmosphere, the original roll top baths and the painted friezes.
Within its own 13,000 acres of private estate, this delightful lodge is full of history and is a wonderful place to go on a true Highland holiday.
