Who are Scotts Castle Holidays?
Scotts Castle Holidays is an independent agency formed in 1988 to offer holidays in private castles and manor houses in Scotland. From this original concept, the agency has steadily grown and now handles bookings for a huge variety of private castles, castle hotels, large houses, mansions and lodges primarily in Scotland.
What service do we offer?
We provide owners with a letting and administration service for self catering and fully catered accommodation. We deal with advertising, enquiries, bookings, payments, cancellation insurances etc.
We aim to provide a friendly, personal and efficient service tailored as far as we can to meet each owners individual requirements.
Scotts Castle Holidays is operated on a day to day basis by its owners and a small but very experienced staff. To our clients we are not a call centre, but real people with real knowledge of the area and the properties we offer.
What do we market in our property portfolio?
Whilst we are Scotts Castle Holidays - we do not just offer castles. Of course, we are delighted to represent castles, but we also represent a range of good quality large houses and mansions.
We are not just Holidays!
As well as specialising in holiday bookings, Scotts Castle Holidays now offers a wider range of advisory services and are involved in the wedding and corporate event markets.
We have provided venues for celebrity weddings and corporate events. We have arranged kosher facilities at our accommodation and even set up paranormal investigation units - in fact we receive all types of requests!
Company Back Up
Although we do not provide a management service and are booking agents only, in the unlikely event that something goes wrong we will always be on hand to give advice and help where we can. We believe this service is a reassurance to all owners, quite apart from the obvious advantage to both current and potential clients.

We are always looking for good quality properties to add to our portfolio and with over 17 years experience we are only too aware of the importance of producing the greatest financial return to our owners from their property.
Our size and resources enable us to provide a unique and comprehensive service for owners of all property types and sizes. With carefully targeted marketing we will promote your property to prospective clients worldwide, delivering maximum exposure and improved bookings.
Our Property Manager will be happy to visit potential owners to advise on the suitability of the property for letting, as well as offering more general advice on the market and the business of letting.
Following mutual agreement to take on a property, photographs, layout plans and a property description will be drawn up by the Property Manger and submitted to the owner for approval prior to website listing. The Property Manager will also familiarise the owner with the company policies and procedures in relation to enquiries, bookings and payment.
Our Charges
Unlike many other agencies there is NO joining fee, NO annual registration fee and NO charge for pictures. We charge absolutely nothing to advertise your property in our brochure, in selected publications, through our international agents and through this website.
The commission we do charge is probably equivalent to the money & time you would spend yourself on marketing, enquiries and bookings. However, with our experience and expertise we are able to use the equivalent sum to maximum benefit by reaching a wider market.
We rely on commission so if we don't do our job and bring you business, we don't earn any money.
